Wood County Christian School offers a full competitive athletic program for elementary through high school and strives to build great athletes who honor God in all aspects of their lives. Athletes realize the rewards of a good work ethic as they learn discipline, teamwork, and character through the rigors of competitive athletics. Our athletes learn to be good teammates, helping others to succeed, handle conflict, make good decisions, and display sportsmanship in every situation.

At WCCS the athletic program also enhances our community atmosphere with parents and students celebrating victories, encouraging in losses, and fostering a positive school spirit. Athletics also provide a bridge to the greater community through competition with local public schools by which positive relationships can be built.

Although hard work and winning are traditions at WCCS, our ultimate goal is to produce young men and women who honor God in all areas (Colossians 3:23)
